Richard Rothstein uses a plethora of factual information to support his claim that segregation and oppression was and still is systematically supported by local, state, and federal governments. Read along with us as he disentangles the myths surrounding poverty, imprisonment, a failed education system and the intentional oppression of non-whites.
Navigate through Rothstein's real and impactful research as he uses evidence to clear up misconceptions surrounding what we presume to be de facto (without the approval of the law) segregation in housing, and sub sequentially entire communities at the national level.
Finally, What does God say in his word about segregation and racism? How does he want us to respond to oppression? How have children of the most high responded in the past? Join us in the discussion lounge, September 22, 6:30pm ET as we discuss these questions and many more.

-Nearly all of our past US Presidents had a hand in the segregation of non-whites which ultimately led to the economic suppression of black and other minority wealth throughout the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries. Their perspectives can be traced back to times of slavery.
-The stereotypes and attitudes that support racial discrimination were cultivated by strategic government action, specifically designed to targeted African Americans and other non-whites. The goal was to restrict them from neighborhoods designated for Caucasians.
-If federal programs were not, even to this day, reinforcing racial isolation by disproportionately directing low-income African Americans who receive housing assistance into segregated neighborhoods, we might see more inclusive living communities and an even better racially inclusive society.
