Take, eat, this is my body

Scriptural text: 1 Corinthians 11:24, John 4:13-14

1 Corinthians 11:24 states, “And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.” Whatever we put into our mouths and consume once lived and eventually died so that our bodies could be nourished. Just as those chickens and pigs had to die so that we might live, Jesus had to defeat his flesh before he could possess the keys to death and hell. A high number of people are dying everyday, from multiple causes. Taking time to discern the power of the blood and how it works can drive down that number. The blood gives us the ability to live life on purpose.

We will not live as though we have no hope, because we have Christ and with Christ comes deliverance. We live in a day in time where the pharmaceutical companies do not promote cures for sicknesses, as much as they do treatments. Psychologist do not seek strategies that encourage freedom from the mental terrors and enslavement to many of life’s common anxieties. It is hard these days to find someone who still believes in deliverance.

John 4:13 says, “Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.” Remember the name of Jesus when you are in need. Remember to call on the name of Jesus when you are lonely and searching for a companion. Remember to call on the name of Jesus in your time of anxiety. For those that call on his name, shall be saved.
